Adobe suspend the development and commercialization of GoLive

Adobe GoLive is an html editor on the market for some time and that, in a first phase, contrasts at work the now popular Dreamweaver. Since its birth, GoLive has always been characterized by a high level of interaction with the user based on the graphic.

The acquisition of Macromedia by Adobe has inherited the house in San Jose, the previously mentioned Dreamweaver, well appreciated by the public for the options offered on the development of AJAX solutions. GoLive on this front has been a step backwards.

In order also to avoid unnecessary duplication of product, Adobe has chosen to discontinue the development and commercialization of GoLive: all resources will be dedicated to Dreaweaver. Adobe offers a special offering dedicated to those who intend to migrate from GoLive to Dreamweaver, in fact, at a cost of 199 Euro you can purchase a new license.
